That's a really neat shot! I love the fact that it was shot in late afternoon light, so that you can see the snowflakes and the building details on St. Pat's and Saks.

The last time I stepped foot in Manhatten, was to catch the Ferry to the Lovely Lady. I had to carry my 4year old daughter up the last 150 feet inside the lovely lady.....those last steps cannot be stepped by little ones like my 'Becca of 1987. But back in 1967 I was running, skipping, jumping, walking and struttin' all over Manhatten and a few other burroughs (yes I know I misspelled it)of New York City. If you could only have had a camera and have been born when I roamed those NYC streets in the 1960's....I took a million pictures in those days...it almost filled my minds hard drive up.....

And I spent a lot of time in St. Pauls...in the '60's....you see back then there were no locks on the doors.

All of that came later, and the ugliness of NYC cannot be blamed on me....graffiti, filth and a sky with no stars makes for good pictures....but I remember when there was no grafitti, dog crap, broken glass, spend condoms and spent needles on the streets of NYC.....and the sky had a star or two in it.

You are a very very talented photographer, hopefully you will become famous and rich. And I'll bet you, if you do become rich, you won't stay in NYC.
