Be careful, when parking under trees. Things could have been worse...this could have been MY car. ;]
Please, could you go to this site and make witty comments on the photo there? It's a photo of a bird with some alligators. I'm sure you can come up with something funny.

From the banks of the mighty Hudson River, late afternoon light reflects off buildings of lower Manhattan at an incident angle to the camera.
EXTRA: I looked at last November's photos (2007) and found an interesting one from Kasaan Bay, Alaska to compare to the one for today. Oh, if you click the link, once there, you will need to scroll for the sunset photo. Yes, you will recognize it.

The little man walked in Times Square Tuesday night to find out that Barack Obama has become our President-Elect. Thousands of people cheered the large screen. On November 1st, Weeki Wachee Springs became a Florida state park. Here, Tommy Ervin, inaugural park manager, and two current mermaids take part in a weekend jazz fest held at the park.
I wish Mr. Ervin all the best in his future efforts and look forward to visiting Weeki Wachee for decades to come.
