For the most part they hqave been removed from school buildings and churches in the Cleveland area. and yes I still remember the dtop and cover drills that I had in grade school.
We never had drills about fallout shelters or drop and cover. But I remember when they were some part of almost every science fiction movie. Funny how some things just never happened. Though I don't think they were a bad idea.
We were talking about them the other day, wondering what happened to them and how they are being used now.
