Big Wheel View

So, maybe the hotel where I stayed in New Hampshire for Thanksgiving didn't inspire THE SHINING. Though from New England, maybe Stephen King needed to go 2/3 of the way across the USA to Colorado's Stanley Hotel in order to come up with the idea of a winter caretaker losing his mind at a remote haunted hotel, et cetera. No matter. I submit to you my version of the view from Danny's big wheel...

Not necessarily a blessing but something that I have grown to like in a weird way--razor wire! Reminds me of "home", as in Brooklyn, NYC...

The little man wanders along in Manhattan on the west side. He enjoys the canyon views and never fears the dark.

Lower Manhattan

Near Broadway in Lower Manhattan, not far from the World Trade Center site, we see many different styles of architecture all together.

City Block

Here we see one block of Madison Avenue, from 89th Street at the bottom (south) to 90th Street. The large white vehicle in the left lane is a stretch Hummer limo.

Puddle Building

How deep is a puddle? Beyond the physical depth of the water, reflections on the surface offer fleeting glimpses into the pavement, like windows to another reality.

For 2.2 million dollars (US), this view could belong to you. Once again, we see the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir in Central Park but now from 36 floors above the ground.
