Hi there,
Actually my hubby is a flat bed driver. He hauls specialized.

They have special trailers that haul containers in and out of the ports. Some are hauled on regular flat beds, but most of the ones running around the ports have a different name and I don't know it.

And the trailer that you have captured in the foreground appears to be a low boy or double drop...official name an RGN.

Wow...hate to sound like a no it all but truckers get so testy about exactly it is that they do.

We go into ports all the time. some are good and some are nightmares.

Dundaulk is one of my hubby's most visited ports and it is not too bad. He also goes into LA's port quite a bit and it is a nightmare!!

Thanks for the share and I hope I didn't sound like too much of a smarty pants!!:-)))

I, too, was amazed by the lack of graffiti.

Shinade: No problem offering info. Thanks!
What's funny is that your comment is longer than a week of my posts.
