Thank Heaven for blogging, eh? This photo begins the fourth year of this photoblog. Here we see a favorite subject, the Empire State Building, seen through two buildings on Sixth Avenue.
Thank you for visiting!

Nice picture. Havent had the pleasure to go to New York yet.
Two of NYC most important buildings in a most original shot for such a big anniversary...you definitely have a good 4 years (and then some) of more excellent NYC shots to come!!! Congrats!!
Happy fourth, and this photo demonstrates why I enjoy coming here. The tallest building in my home town is a mere five-stories, and you don't get much past 30-stories in Little Rock. Tall buildings -- and great pictures of them -- are a rarity in these parts.
Happy Blogiversary! Now, I don't do my best thinking in the morning, but if today's photo starts your fourth year, was yesterday your 3rd blogiversary? The reason I ask is that I have admired your blog for a long long time, and feel certain I remember your blog from when I first started blogging and using BlogExplosion (8/5/05), and way back then I thought of you as "one of the pros." Did you really start just days before me or a full year?
Either way, congratulations. Your photos are amazing, and to have posted hundreds/over a thousand of them is a milestone worthy of a nice bottle of bubbly. Enjoy!
Happy Bloggiversary! Your blog makes me want to come there so much- even more than I wanted to before I came across it, if that's possible :) Now hurry up and put together that coffee table book!
Ps: Completely unrelated, but your name is Fred?! It's a very nice, warm name but I'd always thought your parents had one heck of (an?) imagination and named you Otilius, after some unknown Greek God or something! :D What does Otilius mean?
Absolutely right....it's not the Flat Iron Building...I most definitely should have caught that...oh no, I'm losing my edge living in RI!!!...great shot, nonetheless!!!

Happy Anniversary...
And many more to for us viewers.
Is that the "Flatiron" building on the right?
Louis
Louis, don't get fooled by an impostor building... This is not the Flat Iron building but does a nice trick to the eyes at this angle.
