ESB Canyon 5

a peek at the Empire State Building from Fifth Avenue and 40th Street, Manhattan, NYC

We've had such great weather lately--and low humidity, too. You know, it makes you almost wish you were a tourist. If you live close or have some free time, what are you waiting for? Come on!

Here, we get a peek at the Empire State Building, looking down Fifth Avenue from 40th Street.

Wow, after I see the wonderful photo and it's desciption. I am thinking to be the tourist for New York City.
Surely, I will bring my digital camera to record the scene of wonder-New Yoke City.
Have a nice day, best wishes from coolingstar9, Singapore

Dude! This is a awesome photo! Ha, as always! ;)

ummm, I don't want to be a tourist, I want to live right in the middle of it all. ;)

Hey, do you ever shoot black and white photos?
Thanks for your postings! And have a great weekend. :)

I absolutely love New York City and would enjoy being there right now. But it isn't possible.

Meanwhile, I'll keep enjoying your great pictures.

Chilly, I used to shoot more B&W than color but since I started using digital cameras, I haven't. I am attracted to blacks and shadows, though, and you see this in many of my posted photos.

Great image. Everything is sharp. One of the things I'm constanly goofing up. Even with a tripod I seem to shake. Good job.

I used to live in NYC and this picture really makes me miss it. After I win the writing competition at Writer's Digest, I'll be able to go again next Spring!
(I'm thinking positively;)
