Another beautiful day here--perfect for boating on the Hudson River. Here, we see a cruise ship leaving town, heading down river, with Manhattan in the background. As you can see, some other craft use this busy waterway. Watch out, little guys!

Yes, it's true Hudson river is a one of the busiest river. Just like you said I'll always see the cruise ship passing by. Sometimes I used binocular to read the name of the boats. Last time the Queen Mary passed by too. Anyway, have a great day.
It is truly a blessing that we have such waterways for many size boats, ships to take advantage of for so many reasons. You are indeed blessed to have such a view.
Great picture! I know it isn't the Circle Line, but the shot reminds me of the Sundays my parents used to take me on the Circle line when I was little (mid-1960s).
I always enjoy your photos - was born and grew up in NYC.
Always love the combination of pleasure, freight and passenger craft on the water. We get that here too, being a BIG port and gateway to the country - and a big tourist destination.
I though it was a faked picture for a moment. That ship is so big! Then I checked the site I was on and realized it was real. That is am amazing picture.

Seems like this should be a motivator post with a caption. Or a Macro.. Could be interesting & funny.
I love this one. It is a busy photo in terms of elements and yet, lots of things stand out individually. Great shot.

I can't believe how big that ship is! So many angles in this shot, it almost looks 3-D.
Nice job Oti!

Is this Carnival Victory - I was working on that same ship, wow I miss NY.
I love the empire state building, I can see it from my room's window when I was in New Jersey...
