In previous years, I don't remember The Powers That Be leaving The Times Square New Year's Eve Ball visible throughout the year. Here we see it atop One Times Square in Manhattan during a beautiful late afternoon, from Broadway between 43rd and 42nd.

Oh my God, this is so beautiful! I love that you photographed it before it became too dark- it makes the picture glow.
