End Of A Year

self in lights

Here is one of my favorite photos from the previous year, "Gnome in Lights", published January 28th, 2008. I hope you didn't mind the little break I took the last two+ weeks, since I am visiting family out of NYC and it just sort of happened.

I wonder what photos of mine you liked, if any, this year? May your next 365 days be really, really, really great and keep visiting New York Nitty-Gritty. Thanks for coming!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year - and I love all of them. I am a NY'er living in exile and so enjoy seeing my home, every day, in new and beautiful ways...Thank you (A book of these photos would be very nice)

I'll be honest- I minded VERY much that your blog wasn't updated! All the while, I kept thinking that something was wrong with my feed-reader ;) But you made up by re-posting this picture, which is fabulous, to say the least. What fantastic play of lights.

But I'm glad you got to spend time with your family. It's already the 1st of Jan here in India, so happy new year!

I agree that it's hard to pick a favourite, but this one shot of grafitti on a bright pink wall- just a few white faces or something, don't quite remember- was particularly striking. It's a couple of months old, I guess.

All the best for the zero-9!

Happy New Year, NYC!

As to feedback.........I can't think of any of your images that I didn't like, but many that I loved!

Over the next week or so, I'll take a look back through your posts, and try to choose some faves.
