New Jersey Sun Dial

Across from Lower Manhattan, in the fresh snow, we come across a SUN DIAL.
No, I can't tell what time it is...

That's neat! I like sundials, but can't tell time with them either!!

I know how to tell time with those - ironic with a ! sun ! dial covered in snow :D

Great picture !

Whoa that's a huge sundial. That black light pole is distracting, though. I would suggest taking a step to the left to hide it behind the dial.

so depressing to see sundials when it's so greay outside....

That's hilarious, Mona...I'd suggest reading some books on art and going to some museums. I don't shoot stock photographs.

:P

O - I'm sorry if i offended you. But it was constructive critism, you don't have to take it but I wasn't being malicious unlike your reply.

Wrong again, Mona. I have no malice in my comment, no matter how you READ it. If I had malice, I would go to your space and complain. I meant the comment at face value. In the visual arts, sometimes, you have to let things flow over you and just look. You could be helped by following my advice.
Composition is the key word. Believe me, I fight for every composition and take care framing shots. Eliminating objects of interest in a composition make a photo bland not better. In this case, a nice, abstract, slightly weird, maybe surreal, image gets created. Cheers!
