For the Birds

sea gull on the Hudson River

A sea gull poses on a railing at the bank of the mighty Hudson River, across from lower Manhattan. In the background, we see new construction just north of the World Trade Center site.

Thanks for helping the photo, my fine feathered friend!

I love how you constructed the Blog You Blessings blue thingy? Is it able to be borrowed? :-) Good photo as always! Happy BYB Sunday!

I've never been to New York, so I've really been enjoying your pics. Have a nice Sunday!

It's nice to see how NYC is changing since I haven't been there since '88. I think the gull is trying to pose with his/her good side.

I love your views of New York and this one with the seagull is the crowning achievement. It brings the element of life into the stark cityscape. Well done and keep up the good work!
