Jersey View

church spires, Jersey City

One thing I want you to know: it is worth crossing the Hudson River to check out New Jersey. In just a couple of minutes of travel time, you can witness for yourself how there is more to Jersey than the turnpike and other cliche' "images". Here we see the spires of a church in Jersey City a bit before sunset. Of course, if you stay by the river, you can look back at Manhattan, too.

Beautiful sky. I walk around Waterbury, Conn., and see views like this--beautiful churchs wrapped around ordinary life. What it's all about.

I wish there were things around here with such character. I love your photos, as usual, OH-TEE. :)

PS I see where you have a hater. What is it about you, dear, that brings out the hate?? :) I must have rubbed off on you a year or so ago. ;)

Nice reminder of home in Jersey. Where in Jersey City is that?
And if you really want to see something good, take a drive out to the PA border and hike through the Delaware Water Gap (Jersey side is better).
