Enjoy a close up view of a figure--a shark--on a new totem pole at the University of Alaska Southeast's Juneau campus. The pole, carved by Haidas TJ and Joe Young of Hydaburg, Alaska, will get raised next year.

Now this fellow looks a little fierce...:0) or maybe it is just the close up that makes him look fierce.

I do love the color they used on him though...vibrant, would love to see the whole thing!!!!
