I like these orange flowers but don't know their name. In the sun, they look like the above photo. When it clouded up and got a bit colder, they looked like the photo below.
Yup, Mrs. Macomber nailed it. Other common names are orange hawkweed and devil's paintbrush. Hieracium aurantiacum. Lovely pics. They really do it justice.

Ive seen these flowers here at the park, they are pretty. I dont know what they are..i thought they were some type of dandelion, but i dont know.

I cannot even tell you the names of flowers in Texas. Birds, flowers and fishes are a world unto themselves.
New Yorkers call them "Indian Paintbrush." Westerners may have a different name for them. They grow everywhere in Upstate NY.

Indian paint brush is what I called it as a child. Here in Salem we have a bright yellow one.... If we would ever get some sun that is...
