Juvenile Eagle

4Y253

What's this? On the Hudson River? Nope, I'm visiting my hometown of Ketchikan, Alaska and thought I'd share some photos while I'm here. In this one, a juvenile bald eagle takes a break from flying and floats on a log in the Tongass Narrows.

What a great photo...such an amazing thing to be so close to a Bald Eagle...

To go from Ketchikan, Alaska to New York must have be a huge difference!!! Both are beautiful in their own way...

Cheers
