I still can't get over how well that turned out. It seems impossible that everyone survived given the landing location. Amazing!

Your shot makes it look like such a minor news event. Although it was a spectacular landing by the pilots and it's a blessing that it didn't turn out worse, the pilots and their crew merely did their jobs in an exemplary manner and nothing more. It makes me wonder why we make such a big deal out of people doing the job they are paid to do, and how events such as these are handled should be the rule and not the exception.

I second Mama Flo..you've captured that beautifully. It's almost like the city itself- the striking contrast between the tall buildings and skyscarpers, New York, really, and airplane bobbing in the sea. Life goes on.

I love the colours. Warm and alive.

Haven't seen that view yet - no boats or people.... Thanks for the pic! It looks like it's sinking... just an amazing thing to see - what an experience for the people. Makes you appreciate life!
