pre-1930s NYC


You may recall THIS VIEW from previous posts. A hazy afternoon gives us a pre-1930s version of Manhattan--a skyline without the Empire State Building.

All you have to do is cross the Hudson River to enjoy this vantage point.

very nice--relaxing--pre 1930's--history is wonderful glad you looked that up :O)

I meant that the shot I took looks "as if" it were from the 1930s due to the haze.
