One Year

A New York City classic business front gate--you pull it down when closed for the day. You see plenty of the solid metal ones, too, but those get full of graffiti. With this type, vandals could still break your windows. Whuduhyuhgunna do, eh?

Oh, and you see that trap door on the sidewalk (not to mention all the gum spots)? You must pay attention to these, when walking around, so that you don't fall into an open one. Hmmm, it does not appear to be locked...

One more thing: today marks the first anniversary of this "photoblog". I have enjoyed the experience and would like to thank all of you for "being here", too. Keep coming back!

This is a great New York image. I've been back twice in the past few months and this Midwesterner loves NYC. I also love the images of the city you present here!
