Coney Flare

Here, we see part of the Coney Island boardwalk near Astroland, home of the famous Cyclone rollercoaster. FYI: the tower in the background to the left is the now long-out-of-use Parachute Drop. I'm surprised no one got it going again with the big bungee jumping craze of the 1980's and beyond...

By pointing the camera at the sun, I made sure to get some wild lens flare. Often, people get lens flare without knowing it, since the effect can vary in strength and be hard to see while shooting.
Be careful out there!

Nice shot. A properly framed shot of the Cyclone, or the entrance to Greenwood Cemetery at 25th St. & 5th Ave. (a lot of stuff inside the cemetery, too) would be worthwhile.
