East River Tug

tug boat pushing a barge on the East River, NYC

Warm weather returns to The City this weekend. Here we see a tug boat pushing a barge up the East River. That's the Queensboro Bridge and Manhattan in the background.

I always loved the East River - though it was not always the cleanest. And I love the tugboats! I remember how choppy the water could get, when there were a lot of tugboats at one time, on the river. "Hold onto your seats!"

The weather is gorgeous in Upstate, too. Have you ever been to Upstate NY?

Yes, Mrs. Mecomber, I have been upstate lots of times (and even posted photos here). Of course, "upstate" to lots of NYC people means the entire state of New York, other than The City and Long Island. LOL!
