That's an impressive shot. With the clarity on the cab sign to the blur of the background, it looks like the street was zooming away from the cab rather than the other way around.
When we visited new york (manhattan) for the first time last year - we just fell in love with the city. The yellow taxi cabs are so distinctive, but what i found surprising was how you couldn't pre-book a taxi/cab in manhattan. Luckily there was one outside the hotel we stayed in as we had to leave for the airport at 5am in the morning to catch an early flight out!

That's a confusing rate schedule there. Then again, I've never ridden a cab.
pretty cool. I was surprised to see the cabs that switched to the little man image. It confused me at first.
i have rode in a cab ...maybe about 6 times in my entire life..rode up front each time..ha
Looks like it costs $2.50 just to get into the cab.
