Morris Canal

Morris Canal, Jersey City, New Jersey

Here we see Manhattan reflected in the Hudson River at the mouth of the former Morris Canal in Jersey City, a forgotten but important part of New Jersey history.

Wow! Amazing...

I want to start photography of my own. Can you rate my photos here? http://marcroger.com/photography/photography-1/

Thanks,

Wow, that's really gorgeous.

One would assume that by the age of 30+ years, I would have seen "all" unique viewpoints to Manhattan skyline, but I've never seen this before.
It would be interesting to see landscape version of same view (just for comparison), but even without it, I have to admit that you've done good job on finding this spot for taking photographs.

You are one of the few I visit daily. Each day I visit, I am reassured I made the right decision.

what a contrast..the beautiful and the ugly..ha..

Not a contrast, an accentuation. The darker images of this shot (as in uglier) uplift and frame the beauty within. I love the red jacket giving scale to the shot!
