For months I have been wanting to take this shot. But kept pondering the sign-- "CAMERA USE PROHIBITED" Anyway, I finally took the shot and post now the photographic evidence. Did I break the law? You decide...
As far as I know, I complied with the letter of the law by not using a camera on the other side of the sign. But everyone seems to have an opinion regarding the taking of photographs in public.
Hmm, why would they not allow cameras? Unless its a gov building whos afraid of terrorist attack..but the sign seemed pretty far from the building from what I see.
I dont think you break any law. Dont worry about it. Cool pic.

meh Oti, just like road sign their meaning begins only at the sign and not how far it can be read. So you're all good !!! ;)
Where did you take it? Gov building, airport?
so whats the building they don't want people to take photos of?
