War is Over
Right this way--No sign necessary.
A big group exhibit, "War is Over", at Sideshow Gallery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, attracted a good TURNOUT.

La Esquina
"The neon sign reads 'corner', a nod to the deli that preceded it, but that’s just a colorful ruse. If LA ESQUINA is as much stage set as restaurant, that’s because it’s owned by Serge Becker, the designer and nightlife entrepreneur behind such hipster loci as Bowery Bar, MK, and Area." Weekend Extra: Oregon
I had my Spidey Senses tingling when I saw this scene...As you know, I took a break for the holidays and went to Oregon. A visit to the West Coast's oldest LIGHTHOUSE became one of the highlights of my trip. Here's a shot from the watchman's DESK.

Happy New Year!
As you can see from the photo above, I'm back from my visit to Oregon. Through the plane's dirty window, you can see a bit of lower Manhattan (see the bright highlight just below the wing, about a third of the way from left to right?) and a little New Jersey fly-over (I flew into Newark and, boy, are my arms tired!).
Check out this shot through a window of the GIFT SHOP at the aptly named Cape Foulweather, Oregon. And, this one, too--YARRRR!
