Hydaburg Totems

The bottom figure of one totem pole, an owl, "looks" at the top figure of another (double-finned killer whale), in Hydaburg Totem Park, Hydaburg, Alaska.

I came to Hydaburg to see the raising of 4 totem poles over a two day ceremony. Tremendous amazement at every turn!

    Great angle...wonderful workmanship on the totems!!!!!!!!!!
    I would imagine the ceremonies were impressive as well...
