30s and 3rd! That sounds right! I think that little brown building used to be a lady's hostel, owned by Salvation Army. If I remember correctly. I lived there for a time in the 80s. Near Lexington Street.
That short, brown building looks so familiar. I think I used to live in that area. What street were you on?
